Whats up, everybody? I'm taking a small break away from working on music to let you know I'm only a few tracks away from completing my next album. I'm pretty pumped about how its turning out. Without giving too much away, I will say that you will hear elements of of some of my past projects in this new album. It's been a long and slow process, but the finished product will be better than anything that I have put out thus far. I'm really proud of it, and can't wait to share it with the world.
I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I write, record, mix, and master all of my music. Also, on every single project Iv'e released (aside from 'The Nite Cap EP), I've produced at least one of the tracks. It would probably save me a lot of time and frustration to pay someone to record me, mix, and master all of my stuff, but in the past I've never been really happy with those results. Admittedly, I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to my music, and I like to have as much creative control over it as possible. This usually results in me locking myself away in my room for hours, almost every night, working on everything from writing and recording, to making beats and promoting myself on social media. I also book all of my own shows. The point is, I've been doing everything myself, and even though its frustrating and consumes a lot my time, I absolutely love it. Eventually, I know I'm going to have to give up some if this control to make time to focus on other things, but for now, I am comfortable doing it all.
To everyone of you who has supported me by coming to a show, buying merch, and sharing my music with friends; you have my sincerest thanks. You're helping me accomplish my dreams and I couldn't be happier. Time for me to get back to work. Stay frosty, y'all.
