So I know its been a minute since the last blog update. Honestly, there should have been one when the album was completed; not sure what happened with that. Anyway, it's here now so rejoice! Winter really sucked this year for some reason, and I'm pretty sure I was just going though some of that "lack-o-sun" depression we have here in Michigan. Now that it's summer and the sun is shining on a daily basis, I feel great! The reception for Virtuoso has honestly been better than I imagined. I've been getting lots of streams and downloads from iTunes, Amazon and all over the place. Its very humbling and continues to let me know that I'm doing the right thing. Creating music can really get discouraging sometimes; especially when you feel like you put so much time, effort and money into it and don't get the results you want. So to everyone that has supported my new project, THANK YOU. Seriously, you guys are awesome! Even know the new album is only a few months old, I'm already working on another EP that's 100% produced by me. Thats right, your boy has been leveling up his producing chops as of late. Ive had a couple of beats in my head that I've wanted to rhyme over for a while, but couldn't bring them to life....until now! I cant wait for you guys to hear em.

Now that THAT'S out of the way, I do have some great news. I've teamed up with the good people over at Vault of Midnight Grand Rapids to bring everyone an awesome in-store comic and Hip Hop experience. Thats right, I'll be rocking out right inside the comic shop on Saturday, July 29th. It's deinitely going to an event to remember. Not only will I be performing songs off of the new album, but I'll be talking about some of my favorite comics/manga and how they inspire me when I'm creating music. Anyone who really knows me, knows that I'm really into comics, anime, and manga and reference a lot of it in my music. Between songs, I'll be discussing what i like about certain books and giving some recommendations. It's going to be a good time people! Hope to see you all there!
