Its probably safe to say that if you're a fan of my music, you've heard me make more than a few anime references. I LOVE anime, and watch been regularly watching it since I was in 4th grade. There will be future posts about anime I like, but for now I'll be talking about the one I've been really impressed with lately: My Hero Academa.
One of the things thats the most interesting to me about this, is that it's a Super Hero Anime. You don't really see that very often. Even with most action anime, there's never been an emphasis on actual "super heroes." I honestly can't really think of another one besides One Punch Man.
The story takes place on earth, where at this point, almost every one is born with a 'quirk.' These quirks are what we in the west would call 'super powers,' and they range from being almost completely useless to ridiculously powerful. The story centers a round a young man who was born 'quirkless,' which is extremely rare in the current age. He desires nothing but to become a hero like the #1 hero in the world, All Might. He ends up being saved by him one day, which sets everything into motion. I don't want to give it away so i'll stop there, but if you love action anime with DOPE fight scenes and a great story, you should definitely give this one a chance.
