For those of you who don't know, I'm a member of the All of The Above Hip Hop Creative. One of the things that we do is mentor the youth, and teach them about the fundamentals of Hip Hop. This summer, we've teamed up with GR Summer Project to help tackle some of the pressing social issues in our local community. These issues were suggested and voted on by the students attending pubic school in and around the Grand Rapids great metro area. Part of this, includes the Park Sessions, in which we meet up at one of the local public parks, jam out, and connect with the community.
